Instead of naming new discovered elements after people, cities or countries, how about we name them after their impact or their importance? The element "Meh", for example, would probably never become an element of great importance, but it's a great name though! Of course, the existence of the element "Uhm" would lead to some confusion!

And then there's "Ah", the element of wonder and amazement. Quite accidentally discovered, but with a big surprise effect (and hopefully not because someone stuck their head into the lab hood).

In any case, the periodic table of elements would instantly become much easier to learn by heart. And that's reason enough, isn't it?!
