Description Tix Clock
With this special Tix Clock, you can bring some science fiction atmosphere into your room: The time is displayed on this clock solely through squares that light up in different colors. Only if you know the hidden code behind it, you can read the time, which then becomes surprisingly effortless and quick.
The Tix Clock works as follows: Each group of illuminated squares represents a digit of the time. To get this digit, you simply need to count the illuminated squares, with no illuminated square representing zero. For example, in the two product images, it is exactly 12:35, 12:38, and 12:36 in the animation.
To make the display even more interesting, different squares light up even when the time remains the same, although the total number of squares only changes every minute. The speed at which the illuminated squares change can be set between once per second, every 4 seconds, and once per minute. Especially with the first setting, visitors often mistake the clock for an abstract light show rather than a clock :)
The clock has dimensions of 26*7.6*2.7cm and consumes about 3W during operation. There are 3 brightness levels available for the LEDs, and the time is displayed in 12-hour mode. The front of the Tix Clock is made of brushed aluminum, and the power connection is via a supplied 230V power adapter.
