Well, let's not be so mean: The four grim-looking fellows are the legendary artists Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Leonardo, who wreaked havoc in Italy during the Renaissance - and coincidentally, they are also the namesakes for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Although pizza didn't exist back then, the round food of the gods would certainly have tasted good to the four artists. :)
