Description Pizza
We don't want to spend too much time once again discussing the advantages of pizza. They are literally at hand: All important components firmly combined in one dish, can be eaten with one hand, no dishes or cutlery needed, foolproof preparation, now deliverable in even the most remote places. Only astronaut food would be better - if it tasted like pizza.
But pizza not only has the (unfortunately necessary) effect of filling us up and thus keeping us alive, it is also full of mathematical beauty. Because the volume of a pizza is given by: Pi * z * z * a, where z is the radius and a is the dough thickness. :)
One thing is certain, it can't be a coincidence that Pizza contains PI and is circular in its original and perfect form!
