Secret Santa among nerds: the joke counts, not the price
The Secret Santa round at the office or in the family has a limit, usually between ten and fifteen euros. For a gift that still says something, that is enough if the design is right. Here are all products from our own development up to 15 euros: mugs, stickers, buttons, tin signs and small things that sum up a field or a passion in one line.
What works in Secret Santa rounds
The gift is unwrapped in front of everyone, so it may raise a laugh. A mug with a formula for the colleague in accounting, a sticker with a computer science joke for the laptop, a button with a line only the night shift understands. If you know your Secret Santa, take their subject. If you do not, pick a design about being a nerd in general; everyone in the room will get half of it, and that is enough.
When the limit is tight
Two small things often work better than one medium one: sticker and button together, or mug and sweets. Keep an eye on shipping costs, which do not count towards the limit but do count towards the budget.
