If you leave the EU or the Schengen area, you generally always have to take a valid passport with you, as the German ID card, for example, is not accepted as an identification document in most countries. While other nations have fancy passports with mythical creatures, plants and the like, we unfortunately only have the rather boring federal eagle on our passports. But that can be changed!

This practical cover shines in the iconic blue of the interstellar government from a well-known science fiction series and transforms your boring passport into a geek's dream at warp speed! But what exactly is RFID protection? RFID stands for radio-frequency identification, i.e. identification using electromagnetic waves. You can use this technology to log in to a digital time clock, for example, or open your locker at the gym - wirelessly and automatically! However, the same technology also stores your personal data in your passport. And that's a problem. Unfortunately, criminals can exploit this interface to steal your data in passing.
