In the Japanese town of Nikko, three monkeys have been sitting above a stable gate for around four hundred years: see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. The gesture is understood all over the world, only the characters occasionally change.
With the Gremlins Figure Set The Three Wise Gizmos, the Mogwai from the 1984 film has taken on the roles. One covers its eyes, one covers its ears, one covers its mouth, and the gaze beneath the large ears remains pleasantly puzzled despite all the wisdom. Each of the three figures is cast from polyresin and hand-painted, down to the brown and white fur pattern. At just over eight centimeters in height, they stand comfortably on a shelf, mantelpiece, or next to the monitor.
For all those who know Gizmo's famous three rules by heart: no water, no bright light, nothing to eat after midnight. From now on, also nothing to say. ;)
