This gadget is also a help for humans. And theoretically for dogs. The cat bell, which also works with said dogs and maybe even other well-trained animals, tells you when cat wants to be let back into the house. So if you don't have a cat flap, this gadget will help you. The motion sensor is placed outside where the cat prefers to go in and out. For example, on the door or window. When installing, you should make sure that the sensor is aligned in such a way that it is aimed exactly at the preferred waiting area.

The sensor is connected to the doorbell via high frequency. If the cat triggers the sensor, this is indicated by the bell. You can choose whether you want to be notified with a sound, a color change (see photos) or both. The volume can be adjusted.

Das System ist drahtlos und funktioniert sehr gut. Der Bewegungssensor vor der Terrassentür muss auch nicht unbedingt angeschraubt werden. Man kann ihn auch einfach auf den Boden stellen, so dass man ihn nur umdrehen muss, wenn man selber rausgeht, damit es nicht drinnen klingelt.

Ich bin absolut begeistert von der Klingel. Zwar gibt man seine Freiheit auf, denn wenn die Katzen das Prinzip einmal verstanden haben, dann darf das Personal springen, aber ich würde mich immer wieder dafür entscheiden. Die Anleitung war verständlich und gut erklärt und die Klingel hat sich faktisch selbst eingerichtet. Lediglich Batterien, darunter eine 9V Blockbatterie musste ich noch dazu kaufen.

Wir verwenden das Gerät als Türklingel für unsere Katze. Ich habe es auf ein Stück Holz geschraubt, damit es besser steht. Bei uns halten die Geräte nur ca. 2 Jahre lang, weil sie ständig dem Wetter ausgesetzt sind, aber das System ist perfekt. Diese Klingel ist schon Nr. 4 oder 5, die ich gekauft habe.
