Ha! Now we know! Darth Vader's helmet wasn't just to protect and preserve his head, it was also to light his way when it got too dark!

Check out Darth Vader's eyes, which glow a funky and ominous red. Oooh...

The lamp is slightly asymmetric, which makes it look like he's bashed his way in through the wall! Seen from the front, Darthy looks a little bit to the right. Combined with the included sticker showing the 'damage' to the wall, it looks incredibly real! (as if Darth Vader just wanted to stop by!)

The lamp has 2 modes: on/off (of course) and a timer. In the timer mode, Darth Vader has 30 minutes in the Light side of the Force before he switches off and returns to the Dark side! As long as you feel safe under the supervision of a dark renegade Jedi, this timer mode is perfect for going to sleep.

The LED lamps shine a calm atmospheric light, suitable for decoration, mood, or for watching movies, for example. Plus, the light is great for finding your way out of and back into bed (but probably isn't bright enough to construct a lightsaber).

The LED works with x3 AA batteries (not included), so there's no cable. Screws and dowels for the mounting are included, you just need to grab the regular mounting tools.
